Our Quality Assurance Department manages and supervises making sure that procedures are done properly as per the standards of each and every plant, regardless of its geographical location. This team currently comprises professionals with advanced degrees in Biology, Marine Sciences and Food Technology.
The R+D+i department is one of the most important pillars of the group. We are constantly working on developing improvements in processes, procedures and new products, all with the sole aim of satisfying the needs of our customers and offering them innovative products that make their day-to-day life easier.
The first Bio-Protein plant for human and animal consumption shows our drive towards innovation.
Our plants located in Spain, Morocco and Cape Verde are dedicated to Fish meal production, thus adding value to fish processing by-products.
Among the projects currently being carried out by our R+D+i Department, the CREA&MAR project stands out, an experimental development project in cooperation with various companies and technology centres. It is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Centre for Technological Development and Industry (CDTI).
